Looks like Pearson writing but that first lamination that is dark does't look like Pearson, though I've been wrong before..

It looks like a Pearson to me too! I’d start at 7-1/2” and work up and down from there. Lance

American Archery used the same strike plate early on, and they used a dot between the draw weight and the 28”.

nice looking bow, leave 1/4-1/2" of the string groove showing and go up/down from there, looks like 30-31lbs.
