Today's shot will be from an elevated position at 22 yards. If you cannot get safely elevated, then shooting from the ground is ok. Be safe and God bless.

Good call Big John. As stated 22 yards elevated. I used the rails on the bed of my truck to get distance and elevation. The neighbors drove by and think I'm a few sandwiches short of a picnic, now. ??. I decided I'd mix this in with my daily 50 shots. So I shot my #45 Mesa II and My #50 Thunderchild at the same time, 3 arrows from each. My last shot with my TC got away from me. That's the top arrows with the batwing fletchings. Some how it still made it close. Good shooting First Shooters!

Good morning Big John, thanks for the call.
Safety first, I set up a small scafold at 5 feet elevation at 22 yards.
Shot two Hi-Speeds today, the '74 56#er and the '66 at 54#s, both shooting 2413s. Black shafts (black n red) for the '74 and Platinum shafts (red n orange barred) for the '66.
Been a while since I've been up on a scafold, had to walk back and forth a few times to relax. :)
I'll take 'em!
Have a great day and stay safe

Good morning all and thanks for the call Big John.
Stood on my back yard stump which is at about 21 yards actually. Aiming for the matchstick with my TradAl bow, 60" 54# recurve limbs and a tapered fir. Was a smidge right.
Have great day folks.

Shot as called and 1st shot was high but 2nd was good. A no name, high reflex/deflex bow I found up in Maine this past winter at an archery shop near Orono. Have no idea who built it or how old it is but the guy said he was cleaning out the lower level of the store after many years and found it in a locker. Great shooter. Thanks for the call!

That's a heart shot Mike. I was gonna do a first shot. But Drybones called called and it was much more fun talking with Cody, about his hunt coming up, out west. :-) Maybe tomorrow I'll join in. Have a great night everybody. JF

I shortened the shot to 18 yards so I wouldn’t have to move my car and get a ladder out! So I shot my 45# Black Hunter and a cedar arrow from the back porch planter, slightly quartered. Good shooting guys. Have a good evening! Lance
