I’ve been emailing Rich at Yellowstone and am thinking about a new Half Breed. Anyone enjoying one of these? Pics?

Hey Anthony, I don't have pics of mine but I really, really like the way my HB shoots. I've owned quite of few longbows and this one isn't going anywhere. I also live in MI (SE), if you're relatively close you can take mine for a week or so any spend some time with it.

They are good shooting bows. Just a little heavier than his Hunter, due to more wood and metal inserts in the riser for the limb bolts. I got mine about 4 months ago. It's 62" 50 @ 28. Rich is also a nice guy to talk to too.

I bought a Half Breed Express that Rich had listed in his stock bows, it just really jumped out at me when I saw photos of it on his FB page and I had to have it. It's 58" 42@28, the riser is gray diamond wood, similar to Bushytail's, and has gray glass on the limbs. I've had it for over a year and really like it. I've been shooting 2016 Easton Lagacy arrows at about 505 gr and also 2014 Easton X7's at about 430 gr. There have been a few threads here on the LW about Rich's bows, they are as good as it gets.

Well, just told Rich I’d take the 44# Half Breed he has in stock. Looking forward to shooting it. Thanks for the offer Chas, I should have the new bow in a week so hang onto yours. I’m out here in the Irish Hills living the dream.

I've never shot a half breed but I own two of his other models. They are excellent quality. As soon as I'm able to fund the purchase I'm going to have him make me a custom bow from my osage.

His bows are highly under rated. I purchased one of his bows off of here. Great shooting love it. It's in the rotation with my other bows. Great guy an quality. You won't be disappointed. God bless

You guys will get the fever and will have to buy another Yellowstone. Its a sickness thats easy for a guy to get (HA) I now have 5 Yellowstones. I recently purchased one of his in stock "Renegade" Flatbows. Beautiful limbs and a very nice bow. I also just received one of his "Spike" longbows I had Rich make for my grandson for this upcoming Xmas.(Unless the Left shuts that Holiday down) It looks as good as an adult longbow. A great bow if you need to get any youth started right. May God Bless our Country on this Thanksgiving Day and on may more!

I had one that was 45#. Probably should have kept it. Very well made and shot very well for me. I really liked the grip. I recall it came to me with no silencers on the string. Thought I would try shooting it without them. It was so quiet I never put any silencers on it.
