Anybody here pack a back or side quiver full of arrows, some LW and some RW fletched, and just reach for whatever’s handy?

I shoot both, makes no difference to me. As long as each arrow has all the same side fletching.

One I come up with an arrow that flies well out of a bow. I usually make up about 8-10 for it. That way there's consistency. For me I see it like finding a good load for a rifle, but that's me.

As long as everything else is the same like spine, length etc it doesn't matter to me and my arrows fly true.

Once when was organizing my arrow assembling bits, I mixed r & l on an arrow, it didn't fly great but it didn’t seem to make much difference.

There's the right way, and then there isn't.

That sounds a lot less like Knowledge and a lot more like a Belief System.

Only difference may be clearance and that is mostly spine related. I have shot both, from the same quiver, and they group just fine out to as far as I'm capable of grouping them. All it does is make the arrow spine clockwise (RW) versus counter- clockwise. (LW).

Makes no difference as long as the arrows all have 3 matching feathers (or vanes for that matter.

I like uniformity so I don't do that.

I’ve always shot left wing helical or offset, but sometimes I’ll see a good deal on right wing fletched arrows. I don’t fletch my own arrows, except I have a LW helical Arizona jig & some LW feathers to replace bad fletching. I thought I might try some RW arrows as well

I just noticed I messed up my thread title. I meant mixing LW & RW during the same shooting session.

I usually do LW because I use my JoJan multi fletcher the most. But I got a great deal on RW feathers barred red so I bought a couple hundred. I have two Blitzinburgers and clamps for both LW and RW so no big deal just make two at a time instead of six. I don’t notice any difference when shooting so I may have both winged arrows in my quiver at same time. Maybe because I use a stick on rest is why I don’t notice any diff

Ive bought dozens of arrows of either fletch and shot all with no noticable difference.........
