I’ve had this butcher knife for about 20 years now and decided to make a Plains Indian style sheath for it. I skipped the layout and cutting and staining of the leather and will start after that task was completed. Thanks for looking. Lance

Here’s the elk hide fringed and ready to glue onto the sheath after spreading the Barge cement on both surfaces.

Glued together before trimming and rolling it over to the inside of the sheath.

Trimmed and rolled over, glued down and with rivets attached to secure the elk hide a little more.

The knife and the sheath punched for more rivets.

Lacing holes laid out and the lace that I cut for them. The green tape is the location for the belt slot.
