Hope everyone had a good weekend, hard to believe it's June already! Today's shot will be with a canted (or canted more than normal) bow from 17 yards. Shoot straight and God bless.

Good morning first shooter and thanks for the call Big John
GROAN!!! Only for youse guys...I HATE canting my bow, can't cant.
Shot the Head Wing and the '66 Hi-Speed, 57.5#s and 54#s at my draw. My "all is right" alarm screaming in my head, I shot 'em canted about 20*.
Shot the RWH 1st, high and low and inside with the Howatt, both shooting 2413s.

Thanks for the call Big John. I usually hit a little low when I “really” cant the bow and today was no different! Shooting the 45# Black Hunter with a new Big Jim bow quiver mounted on and some cedar arrows that I refurbished with new fletch and points. Have a good rest of your day everyone. Lance

Thanks for the call, Big John. This is a shot I don't practice enough. Still getting acquainted with the new HH and the cedar arrows. Safe and healthy wishes to all.

Oh, and for the record, I was aiming at the center, so a bit high, which makes sense. These arrows fly about that far left from 17 yards with no cant, so a bit too stout a spine, it seems. More shooting today indicates that Gold Tip Traditional Classics (500 spine) with 250 gr. up front seem to be just right.
