The cap dip and cresting look good but I think you could have done a better job of sanding the rest. :.)

Part of the "heavy arrow" contingent, huh....a broadhead for it would have to be the size of a '73 Chrysler LeBaron.

I've never been a fan of super heavy arrows or high forward of center. I usually stick with 125- 160 grain heads on my "normal" arrows, so I'm thinking the head for this would be more along the line of a '76 Vega.

ST, don't go with the Vega, My wife's first car was its equally shoddy stepsister...the Pontiac Astre. Aluminum in broadheads is not a good combo!

But, I want a Yenko Vega.
Actually many years ago I was working a sports show in St.Paul, not too far away was the Zwickey booth. They had a Giant Judo point and a Giant Broadhead, can't remember if it was an Eskimo or Black Diamond.

So then a bird point would be a Chevette, Dodge Omni, or a Yugo, or a Renault Le Car?

I don't even remember a station wagon...but at my age I don't remember lots of things. And I was wrong, there obviously were at least 3....I worked with a fellow that I went to church with back in the late 70's who's family owned two Vegas. I asked him kidding one day what possessed him to ever buy the second one. He never had a minute's trouble out of either of his and said they were the best cars he'd ever owned. Well, I said you must've hit the lottery and lucked into the only two trouble-free Vegas/Astres ever made....although there appears to be a jumper cable/trickle charger on that one so maybe the "jury's still out" on the actual number. I had a fishing buddy who was enamored to the point of obsession over the Ford Pinto. I'll admit he built a strong case with his 3, although they always smelled of dead fish and eventually became a foster home for wayward bait. *My takeaway was that anybody who drove USA built cars in the 70's was thankful for the rise of Toyota!
