I don’t post often but visit frequently. Lots of great stuff here. Here’s my question. I have an older Palmer recurve that’s developed a crack in the riser. Is this repairable?

I'd fill it with a few coats of very thin CA; sand and spray some urathane over it. Probably never be a problem, but you'll want to keep an eye on it.

You can't see it well enough to tell. Does the crack extend up on to the limb pad, does it run into the hole in the limb pad, and if so does it run down through the side of the hole, and what material is the riser made from?

I’ve got a Palmer bow had a crack In the same place called mike he said send to him he would fix it ,he did that was about 15 years ago ,haven’t had a problem with it ,I hunt with it every year can’t even tell were he fix it,my main hunting bow love it! Give mike a call.
