I have been tolerating my limb bolts on my galaxy crescent ilf riser. it works well enough for 80 dollar riser but I'd like to see if I could use some Hoyt bolts instead? the tool that comes with it to adjust tiller and such is clumsy and problematic imo. has anyone tried this? are all Ilf same thread pitch and size?

Im assuming the crescent limb bolts are standard. Las sells the hoyt limb bolts for $40, and the lock bolts for another $10, but id get those @ fastenal or lowes.

thanks... I had seen those in my new Lancaster catalog. I think I'd like those that you just need an Allen wrench set instead of 3 separate tools just to make tuning adjustments.

Is the Gallaxy metric. Hoyt probably is not metric. Black Hunters and others are metric.

Just take one of the existing bolts to "Ace" Hardware or Fastenal show it to a sales rep and he can check the thread pitch. Its not rocket science.
