Today's shot will be 23 yards between some obstructions to get to your target.

God Bless,

Good morning all and thanks for the call Chad.

Tried to add a bit of depth to mine this morning. A little bit high. But wouldn't ya know it, and proving the effectiveness of practicing this shot, I removed the obstructions and stepped back to my 25 yard spot, same arrow, and fired one dead perfect center of the target. Proof ya gotta focus, and pick that small spot.

Shot with my TradAl bow in 60" 54# recurve form and a parallel doug fir arrow. Have a great day all. Aim small.

Good call CD! And good morning First Shooters. As stated,@23 yards I has to back up a hair to 25 to make this shot. Otherwise I couldn't see my target through the vegetation at 25 yards I could stand on a small rock giving me elevation of 6" to see over it. Shots were made with my #50 Big Jim Thunderchild and my #48 Heartland custom. Using GT Trads and Warriors, with 200grs and 250gr heads.

Thanks for the call CD. No vegetation in my way so I used the old noodles but narrowed the window down to the 10 ring. I missed low but managed to get the arrow between the noodles with my 45# Black Hunter. Have a good day everyone! Lance

Here's what happens when your wife challenges you try the same kind of shot off my deck at 40 yards. I had to squeak my arrow just under this branch to even be close. My first shot split that branch. But the second would have been a vital hit on a deer. But I probably would have passed on a shot like that. It was a good challenge.

Good afternoo first shooters and thanks for the call CD.

Shot Red Wings again today, although I cut the Lee RWH off in the pic. Always a fun call, makes you concentrate, as if you guys don't!

Have a great day and stay safe.

Thanks for the good call today, CD. Shot as called, 23 yards. There's a few more tree branches in the way than the photo depicts. 2nd day with my Howard Hill Rocky Mountain Bighorn.

Tinker with arrows so this is the first two shots. Gold Tip Traditional Classic and a Cedar arrow.

Have a great, safe and healthy weekend!

RW
