Just heard from my bud. He got room confirmation (at the ski area) for the Sawmill shoot in PA in June. The guy who puts on this shoot also does ETAR. PA is opening today, I think the yellow phase, so if it goes well ETAR looks good.

So it's a go?

Not exactly. They are in the green phase which has some rather ambiguous restrictions. They are talking with appropriate government representatives and planning on go on with the event

Not too ambiguous--green phase:

From the Governor's website:

Any gathering for a planned or spontaneous event of greater than 250 individuals is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, a concert, festival, fair, conference, sporting event, movie showing, or theater performance.

That seems pretty clear to me.

I think we will see a tremendous uptick in coronavirus cases as a result of the huge protests/riots we are seeing daily in every state and large cities as well as small where people completely disregard concerns over that. If that happens there will be extensions of the stay at home regulations--just as we see the country start to begin limited reopening. Prayer is desperately needed for our country.

The ambiguity exists as to whether those 250 plus people or at an event such as a concert or fair that brings them into a small area as opposed to scattered among the various course.

However, it is up to others to decide whether to hold the event or attend. I am just stating what we currently know and will refrain from dragging false bravado, exaggerated fears, or whatever chip some are carrying on their shoulders be it their left or right into the thread.

No chip here. :o)

Heard form Mike JR that the shoot is still on. I will be there for sure. Now have to make some arrows and dewinterize my camper. Widow

When is the Sawmill shoot sometime at the end of June ?

The vendor is proceeding as always. The ultimate approval is made by government officials. We will wait in quiet optimism. TLM

Hey Sax, don't forget to wax that bow up real good in case it rains. We wouldn't want it flying apart and hurting someone. Maybe a good coat of that flex seal stuff might be better. Looking forward to seeing you. Scott.

Ha Ha Ha just remember to bring your longbows I will need something to poke the fire with. Will be good to see ya soon. Widow
