Found this place on the big auction site that sells Premium grade, 23/64” Old Growth POC shafts. They are just about perfect with no grain run off. Naturally straight, really as described. Thought I’d share for those of you who like shafts like this.

I saw those and started to get some but they had 2 different lenths. I couldn't be sure i wouldn't get the 31s so i backed down. My draw is 31 so that length would be too short once tapered. I'm not crazy about 23/64 but its all i can find in my spine in cedar.

Just copy the description, enter into ebay search.

I like 23/64 with a tail taper.

If you barrel taper a 23/64 shaft say 30"-31" that weights say 550gr. how much weight would be taken off. Thank you.

The only auction that came up started at 65-70# and went up from there. Only 5 in stock.

Sorry, they’re from “Archery Past” mine are 32”, 65-70 spine. They sell other sizes and hunter grade as well.

Or you can buy from them directly. There is a better chance of you finding/getting exactly what you want if you buy directly from the dealer. Riley is a good guy to deal with.

I have tapered a lot of shafts but I didn't keep track of the weight or spine drop. I am thinking it would be 30 to 40 gr weight loss and a couple pounds in spine loss.
