I just picked up a Black Hunter take down bow and I am looking for a take down case for it. Anyone out there pick up a case for their B.H. and if so which case are you using.

Rhino Bow Cases.
Do you want a strung case, or one for the bow when you take it down?

A takedown shotgun case works awfully well.

fdp x10 on the takedown shotgun case. You can get 3 two piece bows in one plus room for some extras. Strange thing is SOME airports do not consider them a firearm when going thru the airport check points.

I pick up old violin cases at garage sales and flea markets. This one cost $5 and even has hardware for a shoulder strap.

I've got a Safari Tuff soft case and an SKB hard case. The hard case is huge but has neat little slots for each individual part - one riser, sets of limbs, bow quiver, arrows, and multiple pockets for all the other accessories (stringer, arm guard, glove, tools, etc.).

Second the SKB hard case . Haven't used mine a lot, but has served me well when I did.

I have an SKB take down case for my Black Widow take downs and have used it for many trips from Pa to Montana & Wyoming for antelope traveling by plane. I'm sure there are others that are fine but I wouldn't use anything but SKB !!! Just my 2 cents.Des

I have several soft cases and my favorite is the Safari Tuff. One semi hard case with a zipper closure is the Black Widow case. It holds a lot, arrows, bow (taken down) etc.

Jon as crafty and good as you are, I would expect you could make one rather quickly and most likely have some real neat Character to go with it. Once we get moved.. Again. I will set forth to make my own. Can't be a lot to it, and sounds fun.

Thanks dry bones. I was looking for something padded which would be smaller than a hard case. If I go out west next winter I want to take it with and do some bunny hunting.
