Today's shot will be 18 yards, but hold at half draw for a count of 5 then complete your shot sequence.
God Bless,

Good morning first shooters and a great call CD, Thanks!
The last time we had the 'yer about to be busted' call taught me something about how I was drawing and the draw curves of differnt bows.
Today I shot both '74 Hi-Speeds, the 56# at 30" was first shooting the solid black n red fletched 2413 and the 49# at 30" shooting white n red barred fletched 2213s.
Shots taken at 18 yds, held at half draw for 5+ seconds (with back tension) then came to full draw slowly.
Last time I shot my Head RWH and the 56# Hi-Speed. My Red Wing Hunters develop their power early in the draw, at 3#s an inch from 24" to 26" then 2#s an inch to where ever you stop, as the RWH claimed unlimited draw length. My Hi-Speeds are the oppisite 2# per in to 26" then 3#s to my 30". The H H-S is marked 50# at 28" and scales 50.01#. The Head RWH is marked 50# at 25 but scales at 52#, Hi-Speed gives me 56#s, the RWH 57.5#
The lighter draw Hi-Speed 43#s and the Lee RWH 44# both develop 49#s at 30"

(muttering about no editing, he types) That should read The Head RWH is marked 50# at 28"... it's 45# at 25" (where's the embarrassed emoji?)

Got a late start today and doing a little side by side of a Bear Polar and Shakespeare Wonderbow RH 400. Both 64” and the Bear’s around 50# and Shakespeare around 55#. I really like this drill but didn’t crush it by any means. Was high w/the Polar and got close w/the Wonderbow. Thanks for the call and we’re finally seeing real nice weather in the mid-Atlantic.

Thanks for the call, CD. Y'all are dredging the antiques up from the basement and shooting the lights out with them today! Staying with that theme. shots taken with 1956 Damon Howatt Sharpshooter, left handed.
