I just ordered a black rhino archery kit for my son he’s going to be five in December. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these bows? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Mike.

I have a M-58 that my wife uses. Nice bow, priced right and it gets then shooting. No complaints from her. Quick enough for targets.

I had two of them for my kids, great bows.

My younger son got an ML 48 when he was five, and shot it until he was 11. He also had better form at five years old than most grown men. Just sayin’...

Chuck makes an excellent product, and even at 5, my son could tell that his BR arrows were REAL arrows.

Got one of their little longbows for my 5 year old grandson.

It's a great little bow, and he loves it.

But why, oh, WHY would you go and teach the poor little fella to shoot wrong- handed????

Apart from that, his form looks pretty good! ;)

My daughter loved hers, even named it.

He's a lefty through & through. Won't use his right hand for anything, and I'm not going to force him.

Get this - He's also right eye dominant.

I'm left eye dominant, but hopelessly right handed. Go figure.

Turns out however, that this works out pretty good for coaching him, because we can stand facing each other, and he tries to copy/mirror what I do. Seems to be working pretty good.

My son’s second bow was a Black Rhino, awesome little bow. It spit out a pretty quick arrow for a 15# bow. I bought it originally with the idea of using their trade in for the next size up program, but it held so many memories that we just kept it. Hopefully he’ll pass it on to my first grandkid someday(Not too soon, Lord).

Both my kids grew up shooting a Ml-48, 25#. Got it for my son at ETAR around 2005, he shot it until he out grew it then passed it down to his little sister. Kept me busy building 1/4" cedars for years! He's 23 now and she's 18. The bow is still in great condition and I keep it around to teach kids and ladies that want to try a longbow. Maybe grandkids someday? Fantastic starter bow, you can't go wrong.

I've got a 10 year old that shoots a M-48, bought it years ago for my oldest daughter, Anyhow, he will tell you flat out he refuses to shoot from the kids distance. He says doesn't want to embaress (sp) the othewr other kids. And then goes on to tell you he'll likely beat most of the grown-ups anyway....lol
