Thanks for the comments. This project kept me busy when the Covid19 shutdown first hit me. Mulberry trees grow like weeds on my property, but they are crooked, twisted and knotty. I split this stave years ago, then started working on it a few years ago, but I wasn't sure there was a bow in it. Lol I'm happy with how it turned out. It shoots good.

I don't know where that picture above came from.

I think it the unbraced and braced profiles look pretty good. Can see the reflexed kink in both. Rest of the bend looks nice and even. Would like a full draw picture, but I’m guessing it looks pretty good to.

Nice job, I tried mulberry only once with no luck. Lower limb looks a tad stiff. John

That picture of someone's target and arrows was a full draw photo. I'll try again.

Here it is on the tillering tree at 23". Since this bow is short, I didn't trust it locked in at 25" so I could get a photo. Yeah, I was scared it might break. But I've shot it a bunch since that day of going full draw with it.

Nice bow glad it turned out into a shooter for you.

Nice work. With the kink in the left limb it’s going to look a bit odd at full draw so it’s hard to tell for sure just from pictures. It does seem like right limb is a bit stiff from mid limb through the outers. If you were looking to get some more draw length, I think that’s where I would look. Bjrogg

Thanks for the constructive criticism guys. Most of you guys have built way more bows than I have. I wasn't sure but I was thinking that the bottom limb was a bit stiffer when I was tillering it, but I thought I'd leave well enough alone. I may shave that limb a bit more. It would give me peace of mind at full draw!

Looking back at my first reply I see I called it a reflexed kink. Meant to say deflexed.

Make sure if you decide to remove any wood from the bottom limb. Do nice long strokes with a scraper. Check often and work the limbs every couple strokes. It can get away from you real quick if not paying attention. Tillering gizmo too. My two cents. John

I shaved the lower limb. It's a lot better now. The weight dropped to 45@25", which makes it much easier to draw with my repaired rotator cuff.
