Does Colorado still draw for bear or do you get a bear tag when you draw an archery elk tag?

Does Colorado still have over the counter elk tags?

Bear tag is available if you draw a elk tag in the sw unit's .

Yes we still have OTC elk in a lot of the typical elk units. Some of the OTC units in the SW part of the state changed to draw units this year.

Thanks for the information I thought I read that a bear tag would be available if you draw an elk tag. I usually hunt in the southwest.

Non res can buy a bear tag for $100 bucks this year. Go to the website and get all the info.

Are they still letting nonresidents come out? I heard some states were not.

No limitations. Interesting that the state is not overly concerned about the businesses that are destroyed by shutdowns but support the role Parks and Wildlife which, in Colorado, is an entrepreneurial agency (almost exclusively self supporting).

OTOH, I can't think of many activities that are more self distancing by nature than hunting or fishing so maybe there is a rare ray of common sense here. 8^)
