I just received some gray 5/16 Classic nocks from an Ebay seller. These nocks are unique as they have no side index on them. Can anyone share any info on this? I thought all Classics had the signature index. Perhaps these are very old stock and in the past Classics were made without them?

Traditional nocks have no index. I doubt they are NOS.

I'm a little confused as the Classic nock on the web address shows the raised index.

It is confusing. Bohning has 3 nocks listed on the site. The Classic has the index. The one without the index is the Traditional, and the Pin Nock has just a tiny pin (index) bump. You may want to contct them for the answer.

What you might have it the "T" nock, that has no index.

Never mind, Both of you are right and its a T-nock. I can't tell any difference from the Classic other than it doesn't have an index. Thanks

In the first couple of years that Bohning made the Classic nock they did not have an index, they changed that as most want an index. I still have some of the first year classics without an index if anyone wants some.
