Does anyone have both or have shot the Black Canyon 3 piece and the Yellowstone 3 piece longbows? I like the looks of both and have heard nothing but good about both bowyers. I know Mike at Black Canyon is limited on building. Just curious. Thanks.

I have a Yellowstone Hunter and it is awesome, just ordered a Yellowstone Longbow yesterday. Rich is easy to talk to and deal with. He has a nice takedown on his in stock list.

I got a Yellowstone 1/2 Breed a couple of months ago. I realy like it. Rich does an outstanding job on his bows. Nice guy to talk to too. Waiting time isn't that bad either. I think it was around 3 months. Give him a call. I don't know what happen to the photos I had of my bow. But here's one of the 1st shot of the day pics with the bow.

Jess Stuart of Sierra Blanca bows has a great 3 piece called the Corsair.. Best 3 piece longbow i've shot.

I have two Yellowstone Half breed they are awesome bow Rich puts a lot of craftsmanship in his bows for the money.

I've shot both, but not side by side. I remember thinking that either one could have been my shooting bow. I was satisfied with what I was shooting at the time.

I just ordered one! Hope it is as nice as his Hunter because it’s my favorite bow of all time. Rich told me that I would like it better so that got me excited.

Both are great bows and great craftsman but I'm on the Sierra Blanca Corsair bandwagon.

BigB, Rich and Mike have reps for a superb product, build quality and shootability on either gets stellar marks. That being said Rich will likely have the shorter wait time if that matters to you, Id try and make contact with both and see whats said.

I have two Yellow Stone Half Breeds and own two Pronghorn Longbows and shot a Black Canyon they are all great bows I like the Yellowstone the best because it has a little bet longer riser and Rich put in a lot of detail for the money smooth lines shoot where I am aiming.
