I am looking for this part of a crick it clicker. Anyone know where I could find this piece? I am sure it can be purchased online somewhere.
Thanks

I had one of those go south on me too. I filled the hole out a little larger and used the brass insert that goes inside the 1/4" evaporative cooler tubing. I think most people call it a bullet. Worked like a charm.

I throw that part away as soon as I get a new clicker. Use D loop material....just slip it through the clicker blade, mushroom the end with a lighter, and epoxy in place. Much more durable and quiet.

Do you run into any issues with the blade cutting the d loop?

That part you are looking for is on the pull cord for light fixtures. any hardware store will have it. If you live in a house you probably have some hanging below the light in the atic or in the basement.

Those would be much too big to fit into the small hole in the clicker blade. The ones that come on the clicker are only 1/8" wide and the same deep.

That's right. Those are small what ever you call thems.
Better to use bow fishing line or the D- loop material.

Clickers are not traditional.

"Clickers are not traditional."Ha I was just waiting for someone to get on this thread and post that! You can just count on it! "Traditional" is a subjective word. Most of the traditionalists on here shoot carbon arrows. Pretty sure Saxton Pope wasn't flinging x impacts around. I shoot a clicker right now and it makes shooting a bow fun for me.

I agree Lee a clickers has saved me! Wish I would have used one a long time ago. Shooting better than I ever have and it’s making it much more fun!

"Wish I would have used one a long time ago."
That statement says a lot. I think everyone should shoot one. After probably 30 years of shooting I put a clicker on and can honestly say that I didn't know what a good release was until I put on that clicker. And most people think it makes you shoot at the same draw length each shot. Yes it does, but so much more!!!!!!!!!!!
Get rid of the stupid chain. When I first tried it witht he chain it marred the finish of my bow. Have someone watch you draw from above and behind. Your drawing elbow should be in line with the arrow - that's alignment - bone on bone contact - and that's where the clicker should be set.
In order to do that feed a loop of the clicker line through your flemish string make it big enough so that as you draw back the loop gets smaller. Draw back and have that person tell you when you've reached alignment. Let down. Take the tag end of the clicker line and put it throught he loop and pull tight.
Now if you think of your elbow moving in a 'J' you'll be able to reach alignment and the move your elbow about a 1/4 inch and make the clicker go off. It can be fine tuned so if you don't hook the string and grip the bow in the exact same spot you won't be able to make it go off. It's hard to do.
As Viper says, "no sane person would purposely shoot a clicker". Lol. It's very hard physically and you'll find out if your overbowed or how strong you are. Gets to be fun when you start stacking arrows on top of one another.
"I wish I would have learned that years ago." I think for the best posible shooting (our style), you learn what a clicker is like and then learn to shoot exactly the same way, but without a clicker. This allows you to shoot close range at moving animals and still with good form be able to reach out and touch them.

I agree. I was just being a little sarcastic.,lol. I've used one for 30 years. My buddy's tease me about but I just laugh while they are behind the target scuffing around for arrows. I wouldn't dream of taking it off. I have had buddies put one on and shoot 100 percent better and still take it off.. Go figure.

Bowmania you are right a clicker will make a man out of you real quick if you set it to your honest draw and don’t try and cheat it. My shooting sessions are much shorter now but the clicker has really helped me maintain my process. It was easy to “fling” arrows before without having any idea how I did what I did. Made for real inconsistent shooting
