just aquired a legend, when i strung it brace was at like 7" this seems low to me i was thinking it should be 8 or 8 1/2. Thoughts?

Mine is a 66" bow and I have it braced at 8 3/4"

Brace height is very personal but the Brackenbury bows shoot well with a lower brace height as they don't have an extreme amount of deflex in the riser.

Jim Brackenbury told me the brace distance on the "the Legend" should be between 7 1/2 inches and 7 3/4 inches. He did extensive tests on this.
