I am checking to see if anyone here is aware of any tabs that provide more finger protection than a Black Widow Tab?
I love my Black Widow tabs but I will be going on medication soon that may make my finger tips more susceptible to damage.
Not shooting for a couple months is NOT and option ;)
I shoot 3 under, these days, right hand; bows are light draw weight.
(Its a rainy day, here, I seem to have too much time to think up questions to post, today)

Yost. You can add another layer to it very easy.

Thanks
The Yost look great, except in my case, I can't get used to a tab with a metal plate, even though I have tried.
I know the plate offers some real advantage, but can't get used to it.

Just stick the fuzzy side of some peel & stuck velcro onto the back of, or between the layers of what you already have, then trim it to shape.
Can't beat it. 8^)

Great idea.
If I need it, its easy to do.
I would be able to keep what fits me, and what I am used to.
My condition will be temporary, so I can remove it when I don't need it.
Excellent! :)

You can buy the ones with plastic plate - less rigid if this is the case.

PS If you like your Black Widow tab, you can stick on some velcro type material on the second tab face and increase the protection too.

If you have trouble with your finger tips, you don't have a good hook.

I like a thin glove or tab. If your string is at the knuckle and you're using you back you wont get sore fingers or the third finger callous.

If what Rick recommended doesn't work for you for some reason (it is a really good idea Rick), look at a NEET Super Leather tab if you are shooting split fingered. "To Me" it has a similar feel as the Black Widow Tab when shooting it, but the leather is thicker. If you don't like the spacer it is easily removed. DANNY

You can call E. W. Bateman. They are great people to deal with and will make you a tab with the proper thickness along with a suede or rubber backing. I only have 2 fingers (index and middle due to an amputation). I would shoot no other tab and I've tried a lot. That being said, I hear nothing but good things about Rick Barbee. So - two good options for you. Good shooting!

Try the Saunders Pak-Tab. You can stack it up any way you want to.
