Hi all. I just completed some refinishing/tweaking work on a Browning Nomad Stalker and am looking for arrow recommendations.
The bow's draw weight is 37lbs right at 28", I draw about 27.50ish. I have a skinny fast-flight string on there for now but planned on using dacron. That being said, the FF is shooting pretty nice. Tips are in good shape so I think they should be able to deal with a no stretch string.
I have some full length 800 and 700 spine Predator shafts and some 600 spine Easton carbons.
Any suggestions on where to start would be appreciated.
thanks Toms

You will be about 35# at your draw. You didn't say what tip weight you like to use and that is extremel important in figure dynamics. I would stay with the FF string as it adds performance, and in my experience will add a good 5# in that regard. If you want to use 125 to 145 tips, then start with the 600 and cut them back as you tune. If you go to Dacron, you will likely need the 700 and do the same.

Thanks George. I have a variety of tip weights to try ranging from 124 to 200. I will start with the 600s with a 125 tip as suggested.
I'm looking forward to the tuning process. I've been playing around with some random arrows and despite the ugly arrow flight - I haven't adjusted the nock or brace heights either - this bow is hitting where I aim at 15 yards which is the length I can shoot in the basement.
Can't wait to see how well it shoots once everything is dialled in.
best Toms.

.700 spine and start long. 600 will be too stiff unless you bump point weight up a lot. Shawn

I shoot 3 ,35 lb bows with a 30 inch Predator carbon arrow ,and a 100 gr tip that tune fine for me with skinny FF strings, but would be light for hunting. 345 gr. What George Stout said should work out for you.
