Was looking at the Ace sharpener because it should fit nicely in the pocket of my quiver. Anyone use it? How well does it work? Any other options that might fit in the pouch of my back quiver?

If it's the one I'm thinking of it works the same, and as well as any other 2 wheeled sharpener on the market. You just have to remeber to draw the edge through lightly. It will chew up steel.

I like the Rada awfully well for something to carry in a small pack.

Another rada fan here, for double bevel heads. I keep a couple tucked in various gear pouches.

I have the ACE but tend to use the RADA more

the ACE does work better on hard steel though

Rada and Ace sharpeners. Maybe you are looking for a broadhead sharpener?

Grey Goose Shaft; that bottom one is what we had growing up in the kitchen

The Ace looks pretty nifty, but at 4 times the price, I guess I’ll stick with the Rada.

HUMOR: you can buy a $7 Rada with the (really intimidating!) name of a high- dollar Broadhead on it for about the same price as a half-dozen brand new Ace broadheads.

I have to wonder, though, if the Ace isn’t more precise than a Rada....

Only reason I considered the Ace is I think it will fit in my back quiver pocket better. Really like the price of the Rada.

Ain't no way they will sharpen a head like a file or a stone.

Is that because you've never tried one or never learned how to use it properly?

Couple years ago at Compton a guy used an Ace sharpener to win the broadhead sharpening contest.
