There is a really nice article written in the latest Field and Stream magazine titled Stick Man. If you get a chance, pick it up. Pretty cool - it shows his shop, lots of his wood options, and several bows in the process of being finished.

I'll have to go buy that magazine, since Big Jim is is one of my biggest fans.

Just got my LES-2 from him yesterday. Great to deal with, but I sure wish he would send tracking info.

Jim built me this 64" 2pc Mountain Monarch last year. Though I have a small collection, its really the only bow I need. It does it all, 100% functional art.

That bow is beautiful. Have never shot one but the Mountain Monarch is my favorite bow Big Jim builds.

"Who says back and belly have to be the same??!!"

No one that I know ever says that. ;)

The article mentions the large selection of different woods Big Jim has available to choose from. Big Jim said that by the time he shows his customers the last bin of exotic woods, he has blown their mind.

Danielb, We have a shipping program that is supposed to send tracking numbers for each label... like our website, it apparently has a mind of it's own. BigJIm
