Anyone know of a place to stay at ETAR? I've checked many places and they are all full.

Try pennwells in wellsboro. It’s a little bit of a drive but I stayed there before and didn’t think the drive back and forth was that bad.

It appears that Allegheny River Campground still has at least tent sites available. It is just west of Coudersport and to be honest superior to other area campgrounds in both cleanliness and amenities. Still surprises me how much this campground is overlooked.

I'll second Allegheny River Campground. Stayed there the last three years with my camper. This year I was able to get a room in Port Allegheny which is just a couple of miles past the campground. It's the Mid Town Motel. Might have a room left. It'll be a bit of a drive but still very doable.

Tray Nine Mile motel. I think he might have a couple left.

Try the Lindy motel or Colton Point motel

Come on man. Get a tent and get right down there in the muck with the rest of us.,

I did the muck year ago, and most times it's not too bad, but at my age, my camping is in a solid unit....preferably a cabin, which is where we stay. It belongs to a friend so the price is right. I have slept in the back of my truck on many an occasion and that was fine as well, but with much younger bones. You guys need to plan a year out if you want motels, especially since Potato City is closed.

I hear ya George. I have a brand new camper I’m taking on her maiden voyage this year.

We were able to get a last minute room at Millstream Inn right near Coudersport a few years ago. When the gas boom hit they expanded. Nice place.
