I received some 80's era arrows with three different BH's attached; satellites and then these two kinds. The one on the left is five blade and the one on the right is four blade. Just wondering what they are. Thanks.

The one on the left looks like a Razorback 5.

The one on the right looks like a Magnum. But I'm not 100% sure.

Is the one on the right a Savora? I can't really tell with the shadows on it.

The one on the left is a Razorbak 5 and thew right one looks like a Black Copperhead Blazer 4 blade 140 gr.

NAP Razorback 5 on the left and quite possibly a Savora on the right.

Yep, Razorbak 5, only .91" cutting diameter but weighted 142 grains. Man, I dumped a pile of whitetails with those back in the seventies & eighties. Always liked them! Designed & made by the late Andy Simo, founder of New Archery Products and former NASA engineer.

I don't believe the one on the right is a Savora. At least the ones I have are not vented and the blades are a different shape. In addition the Savoras I used to shoot were held in by a split ring in the middle of the blade.

Ok, Razorbak 5 and jury still out on the other. The pics make it look darker than it is...The entire BH is very shiny and sort of a clipped end rather than really pointy. Thanks for all your responses

You guys want to read the existing posts before you post. Go back up to post from MDW...he's correct.

OK rag, you read his post, He said it looked like a Black copper head, not that it was. Why be so condescending all the time.

Some of are here to learn so be a good teacher. Most all of know you are a collector and have a lot of knowledge in the area of collecting.

The one on ghe right is a Black Copperhead

The one on the right is a Bohning Blazer. I shot a huge buck in 1990 using one of them. It is not a Copperhead. I used them as well, for many years.

Here's a pic of a Blazer next to a Copperhead. Top is the Blazer, bottoms is a Copperhead Slicer. .

It is also called a Black Copperhead Blazer made by Bohning.

From: Bill C
Date: 17-Jul-19

Bohning never made Copperheads. Copperheads were made by Midland Tool and Die in Michigan.

From: deadhead4 Compton's Traditional Bowhunters
Date: 17-Jul-19

Bohning bought the Black Copperhead line from Midland.

The ABCC lists 32 Black Copperheads on the Master List.

15 by Midland Tool,2 by Furlong and 15 by Bohning. The only 8/32 Copperheads listed are Blazers all the others are glue on.

Posting just post, with out having knowledge or facts and just taking a WAG is not helping anyone to learn. Here the clip from the ABCC master list with the info Deadhead4 stated.
