Hey all,

I'd like to get some ideas from you all about ILF recruve setups.

I've got a Morrison 17" ILF setup now that I like a lot, but I have been hankering for something newer to me. You all know how it is when you just want something newer.

I would like to keep the price at $700 and under. I don't mind USED as long as it's in good shape.

Would you all care to give me some ILF rigs that would be in that range that I should have on my list to check out? What ILF bow would you buy if you had $700 to spend and why?

I'd love to have a Bear TD or a Widow, but, I really like the weight adjust-ability of the ILF system so I'll likely stay with it. That feature really came in mighty handy in the last 6 months when I lost a great deal of my strength after some bad infections and hospital stays sapped it away from me. I'm almost back where I was before all this happening.

What bows would be on your list?

Thank you for your time. Have a great weekend guys. Larry

Not sure exactly which Morrison riser you have but unless you're shooting newer lmbs, that's where I'd be inclined to upgrade.

(I shoot a Gen 3 riser and Max 1's. If I had $700 to burn I'd be looking at Max 5's. Then again, those bottom-weighted Phoenix risers...)

Agreed with lower dollar riser with a geip i liked and xcurve limbs. 3r daala riser is hard to beat, omp nightridge riser, heck theres so many to choose from im not waisting my time listing as i know id forget a few. Check into xcurve limbs like uukhas, those will eat most your budget.

Have you shot a titan? I have a titan 3 and I love it but I’m wanting to get a dalla

Titan 3, and uukha’s.

Black bear or Rambo warf riser. Uukha ex1 limbs. Should leave you a couple hundred for arrows.

As for limbs, I'd get a hold of South from Stalker and get a set of his static tipped ilf limbs. Great performance, very smooth and faster turn my Winex limbs at the same weight. I'd buy an Optimus riser from John, have it dipped to match the limbs in color. I also like the Dryad risers, but they carry a price tag that turns me away from it.

I might question the 17 inch length, but I don't know your draw length. AND you don't say what kind of limbs you have on it.

That said and with the info you gave, you won't get a better rig than what you have for 700 bucks.

Todd, I agree; I think he'd be better off upgrading either his riser or limbs, whichever he's less fond of, and depending on his intended use.

A very nice riser, worth consideration for just plain fantastic looks and great shooting is the "white feather lark' from Alternative Services in UK. TYD for less than $200 and looks and shoots like a far, far more expensive riser. The Lark is really "barebow" with no plunger or any mounting screws- otherwise nothing to say against them. I am waiting on the new 21" and 23" versions now, sold one of the 19" I had to a nice fellow, kept one.

The buyer sent me mail last night, I quote: "I am sure I have never shot as well as I did this evening. Overall, this riser and the entire bow have exceeded my expectations."

I believe he put uukha limbs on riser. I shoot uukha, very nice limbs. Recently purchased some of the super curves, plan to put on the 23" white feather lark when it arrives...

I have had several different ILF risers. Morrison 19” Phoenix, Hoyt Satori 19” and 21”, Tradtech Titan III 19”, and a Bigfoot 19” wood riser. Sold all of them and now shoot a JC Optimus 19”. Hard to beat for the price. I do wish I would have kept the Morrison. It had a Jager grip, and felt good in my hand. Don’t know what I was thinking. I would recommend Border and/or Uukha limbs.

Ive been shooting a Hoyt 19" Satori and really like it, using med WW Winex limbs. I do have a nice Titan11 for sale on here, could work on price a bit.

Infitec 25” riser for $139.00 and Uukha limbs.

I second the Titan II or III and, if you can find them used as they're fairly new, the Dryad ACS-RCTX limbs.
