Pics as promised to those involved! A big shout out to my fellow wallers that made this project possible. Low country,Draven, and Oly! Thanks again for helping this old phart out in creating a L/H target bow. 32# longs from my Samick Olympic bow,FEEL like low 40's on this riser. (My scale is in a box somewhere) Just what I was shooting for. Still need an arrow rest,a paint job,and a proper string. Thanks again guys! You made my day!....Steve

And a huge thank you to Brian Waters for supplying the final pieces needed. I'm Not able to purchase anything online so it made things a bit more difficult. Thanks again fellas!

SB - I'm glad you're getting closer to the finish. Your bow looks really good. Looks like a real shooter. Glad you are happy with it.

My pleasure. Better on your riser than in my drawer. I think here the spring will come ... in a year or two!

That Proline handle is one of the best out there for Warfing. Sam Dunham did one for me several years back. They make awesome shooting bows. Well done.

Found my scale today...42# @ 28". Perfect for target work! I have another set of limbs that are 4# heavier.

Awesome looking set up. I have an old Proline that has been hanging on the wall for many years. Is there someplace to get the parts and instructions to do this?

Outwest - Look-up Hawkeye ILF plates on eBay. He sells the plates. Here is a link to copy and paste. Make sure there are no spaces in the link when you paste it.

Another option is to contact Sam Dunham, (he goes by Sarge on here) and get him to mill the ILF groove directly into your riser.

SB, if you want to shoot it off the shelf you can build it using plumbers putty. I did this with mine even if I had the DDD built-up shelf pieces for it.

Built a new endless string for it today. Draven..if it was intended as a hunting rig I would most likely shoot off the shelf. But this will be a dedicated target bow so I'm going with a plunger and magnetic flipper rest ,same as I shot on my R/H Olympic bow back when I could still shoot right-handed! And yes,it most likely will eventually get the sight off my Olympic bow also. I'm curious how THATS gonna work out being right eye dominant! Shooting everything else "gapstinctive" switching sides wasn't that tough. A sight with the wrong eye might be troublesome.
