This picture would probably make Facebook explode so I'll share it here instead. Spent a productive hour or two with Jake and my Grandson Liam. Answered a bunch of questions about rabbits, bows, dinner and smelly guts. Coolest thing is, I think Liam likes the whole deal!

Oh yea, that's a 58 @ 28, 60" Carbon Assyrian from Mr Coffey at Javaman. The bow is slick, quick and smooth. A real joy to shoot.

That picture is how it ought to be, Painter! I had a lot of Brittanies over the years and never had a bad one. But I never had one that pointed rabbits. A couple did like to chase them! An eager grandson, a fine bow, a good dog, and a the fond memories of day afield. How does it get better than that? The perfect holiday message...

Great picture and memories painter. I'm not on Facebook, but maybe you should post it so that someone can see what a real smile looks like, so what if someone gets their pantaloons in a bunch. Pictures like that are the ones that go on my mantel. Great job with your grandson.

Great picture. I’m glad you had a good day. I grew up with a Brittany. They are great dogs. Jim

Grandson, and a favorite dog for hunting companions is about as good as it gets, and some good eating rabbits, and good shooting to boot.

Don't know why I did not click on this thread some time ago. I am glad I did today. Tell Liam I really like his boots and give Jake a pat on the head for me.
