Identical alloy and straightness specs. The differences are color and nock swaging on the Legacy.
Also the Camo Hunter is available in a wider range of spines but both are available in 2020.

And if you like the Big Stiff...
3R has old stock Legacy arrows $60/dozen in 2117, 2216 and 2219...
Unless Gary bought them all! LOL (I only got a dozen ;) )

Any aluminum arrow with the same designation is the same spine. It doesn't matter what it looks like. 2016 is 20/64th diameter with a .016 wall thickness.

Yup and Tributes, Jazz and Blues all come in any diameter you want, as long as it’s ##16..
I think Lancaster still has Blues for about $2.75 a shaft...

If you want to find 2016 Camo Hunter's with glue-on nocks check ebay for NOS shafts...usually quite a few there.

Yes a 2016 camo hunter is same wall thickness and diameter as those GG but have higher tensile strength. All aluminums will bend but how easily is the question. Also the cheaper shafts won’t take as much straightening before they are wet noodles. If you’re going to shoot aluminums you best learn how to straighten them. Also look out for you’re carbon shooting buddies pulling your aluminum arrows. They may not realize they could be putting a little bend in your arrows pulling from targets.

M60, wadr, the GG's have the same tensile strength and alloy composition as the Legacy and Camo Hunters. The only difference is the latter two are held to .002" straightness and the GG's are held to .003".
All this information is available in the Lancaster catalog, a real useful book and worth way more than the price ;-)

DanaC, interesting as I couldn’t find that on the Easton website. My catalog is 1200 miles away so I chatted with Lancaster and the rep couldn’t say. I will look this up when I get home in my catalog.

It's in the Lancaster catalog and 3Rivers catalog, also on their websites. Same tensile strength. Only difference is straightness tolerance and the GG's have a plastic nock adapter instead of aluminum.

The Easton website shows the Legacy and the GG as 7075-T9, 96,000 psi. Only difference is straightness guarantee and that is negligible.

The Tribute shafts are available in 2016 and are made of 70/75 alloy while the Tribute, Legacy and Camo Hunter are 70/75 T-9.
Straightness tolerances are a bit looser at 005" but they have a swaged end for glue on nocks.
I think the majority of us would not notice the difference in straightness.
I just noticed that George just covered this...he must have a camera in my den!!

OK, you guys win. I found the info on the product description on 3R website. Wonder why it wasn’t in product description on Easton website? Someone mentioned size choices and I see the GG are very limited. Choice of spines is my reason for liking aluminums.

The old green Gamegetters were the softer metal. The brown camo, and the newer black ones are 7075.

"Choice of spines is my reason for liking aluminums."
Agree. The Camo Hunters have the widest selection of spines, more than the Legacy, a lot more than Game Getters.
IF the GG is available in the spine of your choice, like 2016, they're a great deal.
Spine listings from Lancaster website -
Gamegetter - 300 (2317), 340 (2315), 400 (2117), 500 (2016)
Legacy - 1916, 2016, 2018, 2117, 2216, 2219
Camo Hunter - 1816, 1916, 2013, 2016, 2018, 2114, 2117, 2213, 2215, 2216, 2219, 2314, 2315, 2317, 2413

They did the very limited sizes on the GG II specifically so that guys who are used to shooting carbons would know which one to pick. Easy Peezy.
And if you’re not a big fan of the nock tapers & glue-ons (Legacy/Tribute/Jazz/Blues), you can always trim off the taper and put in a Uni- bushing… Just sayin’...
Also, I have some carbons where a 2016 nock taper can be glued on over a split or plugged-up nock end. Just need 1/4”-3/8” of tubing ahead of the tapered section...

2016 Tribute on the AD; AO 2117 on the non-tapered. You could also use Uni- bushings and a short section of tubing to make your own nock collars.

What makes 3rivers sale on legacys so great is that's for fletched arrows. Last I checked they had rw shields on 2219 and rw parabolic on 2216. Lol forgot what is on the others.

I also have some Easton Platinum Plus silver colored shafts, reminiscent of the old 24SRT-X shafts. They come in sizes from 1416 to 2315. Same tolerances, .002 straightness, 96,000 psi tensile strength....7075-T9.

That $60.00 won't last long and it's only on a few heavier sizes.
