I got a deal on a 20# box of hatfield bacon ends the other day at the iga. & put 10#s bacon to 40#s deer & 1 bag of legs sausage seasoning. now I know it's not the healthiest thing to corrupt good for ya venison with a bunch of sodium & nitrates. but I'm telling ya rite now it's some kinda good. I usually just use pork shoulder

You can't beat adding good stuff together to make really good stuff.

Now you can put bacon on anything and it will be good. I am a great believer in spices, food wouldn't be worth eating unless it was spiced correctly just ask any good cook.

Way to go brother

There was once a time in the world when spices could be used as currency. When they refer to "the spice of life" it is true.

Yes Sir Good stuff. It is too boring to just eat what is good for you. I am not sure they live longer or it just seems longer when they have to do without. :^) >>>----> Ken

I got a 3# bacon ends from walmart and added it to 7# of ground deer and some Backwoods seasoning!(from the directions, It was a little heavy on the pork fat) It turned out real well. Wish I could get a larger bag of bacon ends! I'm definitely going to do this again!!!! Good eats!!!

I get this at the local iga it comes in a big box with 2 10lb boxes inside I switched to pork shoulder cause the bacon got to $$$ but I got 20 lbs for $43.00 that's not bad

Man, that’s a good idea. I haven’t seen a box of bacon ends for sale since the 70’s, and I was retail Meat Cutter for 45 years.

I grind my home-grown and cured bacon with deer burger. It is incredible. You can feel your arteries screaming, but boy is it good.
