Yep. Jay is easy to contact and is also on Facebook. Type in Jay St.Charles and like his page.

I've got a 66" dual shelf. I love it. Very slim, smooth drawing and shooting. So quiet I don't use any silencers. I like the grip and overall appearance.

I was hoping that someone has one or has shot one.

What information are you looking for? It's hard to tell someone a bow will be right for them. They are smooth and well made and a direct copy of the Thunderbird that Glenn built in the early 1950's.

My favorite grip it feels like a samurai sword in way. They shoot good. One of my all time favorites and with out a doubt my favorite 50s style stickbow

First off, Jay is a bowyer’s bowyer, and I admit I’m a little prejudice because he is also my friend. His recurves, as has been mentioned, shoot well and require no string silencers to quiet them down. I have 2 of them. A right handed one and a dual shelf, both fit my mitt well and are comfortable to shoot. They are well balanced and his finish work is spot on. I’ve seen him completely rework a finish on a bow because he wasn’t satisfied. The Thunderbirds come in both 63” and 66” lengths. He doesn’t take orders per say but keeps several in stock with varying draw weights. Check his web site and even give him a call. He makes a point to make himself available. He is also on Facebook and posts his completed bows there. Give him a call or send him an email, you won’t regret it. Lance
