Anybody know how to reach him? I tried a PM, but don’t think he’s checking in very often.

I sure miss his expertise. The man has forgotten more about bow building than most of us will every know. Absolutely the best knowledge of static tips. No idea what happened to him.

Not unlikely. Steve is not a young man. Just remembered his buddy's name. Kirk Lavender who goes by some sort of Sasquatch something. My memory, you know where I try to, you know, recall something, and it, you know, lets me down.

I did a search and found one of Steve’s posts from a year or two back saying he was retiring from the business of bowyering... hope he’s doing OK.

I hope Steve didn't get hurt like is reported but if so Lord please watch over Steve no matter where he is and help him. I have 3 of his bows.

Well, I used the email address that he put out there and one that I got from a back channel, so I guess if I tried him 3 ways and he doesn’t care to respond, well, he doesn’t owe me a dang thing, so it’s up to him and no hard feelings.
