Hi everyone. It's been awhile since I'very posted anything... but I haven't stopped roving or taking pictures. So, I'll post a bunch now. Hopefully I can create some sort of narrative around it....

For our 20th anniversary the wife and I trekked to Seattle to watch Corb Lund. He's one of our favorites and I recommend his music to anyone who enjoys original Americana music. He was playing with Reckless Kelley.

Ari uad another great year in gymnastics. She went to South Carolina and took 7th in the nation in gymnastics. Afterwards the Carr fire burned Redding about 85 miles east of us. The girls' gymnastic coach's house burned to the ground.

Ayla is really onto firearms. So, we built this bullet trap. It's 2'x2'x2' filled with 6.5 cubic feet of sand. Ayla is a crack shot with her 22 magnum at 100 yards,

Bushytail- I shoot a Skookum which Fred named Black Magic. It's about 70# at my draw and 68". Both my daughters shoot custom bows by Sir Philip... or Ayla will also shoot a Martin Stick 50#@28".
Ironically, Sir Philip shoots a Howard Hill by Craig.
We all shoot armored carbons. I prefer the Gold Tips and I armor them with copper sleeves.
Hedgehunter- no Weyerhaeuser out here at all. It's mostly public land (USFS) and we were on the edge of SPI land. We are lucky in that there is a lot of virgin forest out here.
