Have 2 Bingham type ovens-one for longbows one for recurves. They are in Reno and yours for the taking! They have lights and thermostats, even the forms. My hands do not work any more and somebody should make em work!

That's a very generous offer but since I live in Pa I'm going to pass. Someone should jump on this.

Well, yeah, it's probably going to have to be someone fairly local. Certainly is a generous offer and could help a newbie get started.

My wife says my oven is going to be my coffin. LOL

I have the same here in Florida last guy didn't want to come get them

Surely some one out there is anxious to try their hand at making a bow. Either of these will save you time and money to get started. I cannot make bows anymore and want to see them used

Dang, that's tempting.

Very generous offer!!

I traded my oven and forms for a bow last year. Just no interest in building bows anymore.

Yup I have oven and form + clamps for D shape longbow in Wisconsin, anyone?

I would like to have the ovens / forms if you still have them. I'm just over the Sierras, so no problem picking them up. Thanks a bunch.

Chad drove up from New Mexico to pick up the recurve oven. Wow, quite the road trip. Great guy and a hard core trad guy. The longbow oven went over to California to a good home, too. I am glad they got to folks who will use them.

Good deal. Gave away or sold for cheap (cant remember) my bow oven and form years ago. Tried my hand at lam bows and wasn't as fun as I thought it would be...

Ha! Lol! Been meaning to post, and I will post some pictures soon, just busy with work, and trying to wrap my head around how awesome this tradition is. Skip, it was a pleasure sir. Looking forward to building some bows soon! Or carving out old keys and going hunting for rabbits! :)

Some buddies who tagged along. We hit every archery shop from NM to NV. Good times, and good people. Can't ask for more. Even as cramped as it can be in a tiny truck, it was a trip of a lifetime. Those ram horns are more special than most people know.

Well, my phone sucks and doesn't want to forward pictures . I'll try again soon. But, in the mean time, not only did I get ovens and forms, I also picked up a spindle sander, 4 more new to me bows, a longbow kit, a badge of honor that clips to the brim of my hat, 75 plus trad bow hunter magazines, and a new buddy that is welcome to pass through and stay on his way to TX. Happy hunting Skip! Talk soon.

Good thing you didn't swing east through Denver; you might still be at Rocky Mtn. Specialty Gear!

Did you manage to hit the Archery Shoppe in Albuquerque? Some nice used bows there...and nice folks to chat with as well.
