Hello,

Does anyone know what bolt size the Galaxy Ember uses. Thinking about buying new limbs for my black Hunter and was wondering if the Ember limbs LAS sells would fit. My current bolt is 5/16. Thanks!

Its actually m8x1.25, not 5/16. And yes, the limbs will work.

There are two sizes a large and a small.

Biathlonman, I might be wrong, but I think my black Hunter uses the newer larger bolts as I'm able to use the bamboo limbs on mine.

Does the Ember use the bigger or smaller limb bolts?

The ember uses the larger m8x1.25. Ive seen 1 black hunter that used m6x1. Both las and twig archery sells the 1s with the m8s.

Thinking about making a set of Antler Burr bolts for my GE longbow, think I should go with m8X1.50 to leave 1/4" for epoxying into the burr?

David, if im n9t mistaken the 1.25 is the threading. You can buy whatever length you'd like @ lowes as long as you dont bottom out in the riser. Id prefer stainless also.
