Has anyone used the Magnus black hornet 2 blades? I’ve used the 4 blades for several years but dislike have to take them apart to sharpen. Any info is appreciated.

I do not personally use them yet........I just bought some for a friend of mine who did some work for me. They were impressive. It was actually the first time I had ever seen them but they were 125 grains. I wish I could find some in 150 grain but I could just add some weight. They look like fine heads.

I don't like anything you can take apart. It will come apart by itself.

Plus they look closer to square than 3 to 1, so penetration would be an issue compared to a good broadhead.

You would be better off with a stinger unless you are shooting a higher poundage bow. The angle of the blade is too steep imo But if you do use let us know how they do

I bought some off ebay last year. They have lasted thru 6 armadillos this year and sharpen easily. They fly well out of my 36lb longbow.

Thanks all. I agree the blade angle is severe but I’m not having issues with the 4 blades so I doubt these would be a problem.
