A local archery shop has 452x and 8125 string material in stock and I want to get some. Has anyone used both and which is better overall? Also, how many strands with.021 serving material to fit x nocks and s nocks. Thanks.

Hold out for some BCY-X. It is the upgraded form of both the other two. Just reference the username Rooty and you will find the info for the correct serving material. And if you are not willing to spend the time and money he did learning such things do not expect the same results. And btw the long ago went to Rhino, a Brownell product for all his string making, plus using wood arrows.
