this is a big problem for the nursery. this will be my 7th season hunting there & between myself my son a friend & his son we've killed almost 100 does in 6 years and I must add my permission is only during bow & muzzle loader season (6 weeks) the nursery workers rifle hunt but they are Hispanic & their culture only alowes them to shoot buck's ???

this place is 3 minutes from my house & I'm thankful to hunt there. I buy the securiteries doughnuts several times a year I buy the workers fried chicken for lunch. & at Christmas I get the owner & manager a gift certificate @ the local seafood restaurant. and best of all to them I'm doing them a favor because horn hunting is what got them overpopulated to begin with

I'm not seeing nearly as many deer this year don't get me wrong the 2nd hunt there had a small buck @ 14 yds but only seeing 7-10 deer instead of 20-30 there's a standing cornfield close by & I figure once it's cut I'll see more deer but the nursery is happy with my results & I'm so thankful for this property to hunt

this is proof that big $ is not needed to obtain a place to hunt. I worked for a farm fertilize & chemical company at the time & while delivering some chemicals I inquired about deer damage & stated that I hunted does almost exclusively & wala just like that I had permission. I didn't know it but I was talking to the nursery manager. I - we are polite courteous offer assistance never ever leave anything (trash) & have never taken a single plant not even out of the trash pile.
