well I hate that all these pics are gone but I will add a new Toelke pic in a few weeks. Got a whistler being made 58" 43@28 cut past center with micarta riser, black glass, yellowheart accents and gloss finish. Looking forward to shooting it. If it performs like my whip im gonna love it.

You will love the Whistler. Mine took about 3.5 weeks. 60” and 40#@28 with a classic grip. Very smooth and quiet. It is as smooth as my 68” longbows.

Carter, Sweet shooting bow. It was much slimmer than I thought it was going to be, but it fits my hand well and it just has a look and feel that just makes you want to pick it up and shoot!

BTW Dan Toelke is an awesome guy. I sent him an email telling him that I made a trade deal for one of his bows. Told him how much I liked it and mentioned that it did not come with the shelf rest material. Asked him what he recommended. He got back to me quickly and asked for my address so he could send me some! Didn't even buy the bow from him. He will definitely have my business in the future!

Hey Carter, this is Jims explanation “ "Dark Matter" is rated 3x stronger than Phenolic and Micarta. It is extremely tough... "Dark Matter" is not just a resin impregnated material but rather a unique orientation of fiberglass set in an epoxy matrix. "Dark Matter" is rougly 25% heavier than Dymondwood which is one of the heaviest engineered handle materials I offer.”

Dan said it was true Macassar Ebony. The color combo works great and the bow is a phenomenal shooter. Looking forward to the Osage aging. This one has what he calls the low classic grip. Lower heel of course and more slender. Best whip grip going.

All the bows are really nice, I love the slight radius cut shelves, and light wrist lift. The only bow I had with that similar shelf was a bow made by Roland Jenkins. Thanks for the pics. Now I have to wipe the drool off my keyboard.
