Nice critters guys. Only been out a few times and yesterday I got distracted by mushrooms again. Had to douse myself with repellent that the 'skeeters just licked off and bit anyway. Would love to see an overnight frost before the middle of the month. Agree with Scott on turkeys; damn things have six eyes and no curiosity. ;)

Killed this buck after some help from 3 Rivers and you guys. Tore my rotator cuff and dropped down to 40 lb limbs.. 3 Rivers doctored up some Samick limbs for my DAS riser. Shot through one side and stuck in offside shoulder. Did I mention I like the low poundage girly limbs. My buddies asked me if I painted over the children's stickers on the bow. Lol

Earlier in the season it was too hot on one particular afternoon to hunt deer so i got lucky when 5 toms showed up in my field. Grabbed my bow and went to where I thought they would go.They saw me set up but still moved my way but apparently thought they were out of range. They went past me quickly but the fifth one stopped to give me a look. Last person he ever saw. He traveled about 15 yards after the shot.

E. TN doe from Ocotber 8 since my thread photo vanished. Had my son with me at the time. Brought everyone out for the search. I'm not sure who was most excited.

Congrats to everyone that’s had a successful season so far! I finally connected on this small doe last night. She came in by herself at last light so I couldn’t really judge her size too well. She’s small but I can’t be too picky 2 months into our long rifle season with only 3 weeks left to get it done! JD Berry Morning Star, POC arrow with Hill broadhead.

I'm almost as thrilled of getting one of these as I am a big buck. I melon'd this fella in the back of the head from 25yds with an Ace Hex blunt. He never flinched.

Well I thought I would have some whitetail pics to ad to this thread but it wasn't to be. Hats off to this old buck he made a monkey of me but it was fun playing. Hope we can resume next year.

This “11” pointer chased a doe by me in late November. I took him out for meat and to keep him from breeding. Was really small for our area, at only 90# dressed. Really fine eating !
