Anyone know of a source for a full cordovan glove? Not sewn on pieces but the full glove made from it.

Cordovan is way too expensive to make a entire glove out of. Cheep traditional archers will not spend that much.

So what’s the best substitute?

Does make sense that only the parts touching the string would have to be the Good Stuff....

Bateman has gloves with the whole stall made of cordovan. I made a glove just of cordovan but didn't care for the strap to be made out of it.

Bob, for the most part I think your probably correct. Maybe if I could get "NEET" to make me one of their "Fred Bear" gloves with cordovan tips.

Too much waste. Only the stalls should be Cordovan or better yet just overlays on the stalls. >>>----> Ken

That depends on how you define waste Ken.

Probably the wrong word to use. Many other kinds of leather are readily available and cheaper. One that I really like is Latigo. It is tanned using waxes and oils to stay flexible with outdoor use. Often called harness leather. Used for harness, reins, and straps for horse gear.It stands up to water and sweat very well. Still trying to think of a better word. Any way I am very conservative with my piece of Cordovan. Did you know Cordovan only comes from the inner mussel on the hindquarter of a horse. No! I won't WASTE it.>>>>------> Ken

Look at Bateman but be aware of sticker shock. The one I'm using is four years old with alot of shooting and still in great shape.
