I'd like to find a vintage Bear Super Kodiak. I don't know what the various model years look like except for a few, like the Black Beauties. How about showing your vintage models? I'm sure a lot of people would love to see them, also.

Please state the model year if you know it, or what year or years you think it is.

Any opinions on which years are the best shooters, or how they differ if at all, are welcome, also!

Thanks!

Shandor Weiss

Opps.

Thats the wrong pic.

Traded that one to cacciatore.

Mine is #45, same year '70.

Very nice. I'd love a 70. I'm especially interested in a 64" one. Seems that the vast majority are 60". I couldn't even find a pic of one on Google, which is one reason I started this thread.

Missed a 64" 69' lefty by $3 on ebay a few years back.

I recall it sold for $200, US.

I have a late 1972 but it’s at Rich Lopez for a refurbishment. Hopefully by end of year I will get it back. Thing is if it’s like new I wouldn’t shoot it so much. Afraid to get it dinged.

A Super K is one of those bows that I have wanted, but never owned. My favorites are the 68s and 69s with the micarta riser and rosewood caps, but I would also love to have a "black beauty", heck, any year for that matter!

Being a lefty, the opportunities don't come up as frequently as they do for righties, but one day I will find one!

I always have to show a pic of my blue-strip with blonde horns.... 1975? or thereabouts... I've been told that these are 'uncommon', but to date I've still never seen one like it.....
