Hello everyone! I recently acquired a 62" Fedora 560 TD, I am wondering if someone has shaved the grip down to a smaller profile and where did you concentrate the removal of material? Thanks for your help.

Give Mike Fedora Sr. a call and ask him. He may offer to do it for you.

I would talk to Mike as well. That being said, if you want to do it yourself, you have to do the reduction in a way that's going to be comfortable for you. Nobody can coach you on that.
Keep in mind thogh, Mike made his grips the way he did to minimize bow hand torque. He is/was very particular about that.

I have one that I worked down a little bit because my big mitts didn't fit in the throat of the grip as well as I liked. I used a round rasp and gradually worked it until it fit comfortably and finished it with the proper grit sand paper until it was smooth. I didn't touch the thumb rest area at all to speak of, just the throat area. It's a lot more comfortable now and I don't have any torque issues.

I would definitely call Mike Sr. or Jason. As noted above, Mike shapes them that way for a reason, so I'm sure you'll have some conversation about it, But he worked with me on a couple of grips that were larger than normal. he has also built some grips that were the same format, but scaled down and not as "high wrist" on bows for my wife and daughter
