Does anybody know if Stotler Archery is still in business, or not?

I have been wondering about that myself lately. Very little activity on their FB since 2014

I got a bow from them 3 or 4 years ago. They were located in Illinois at that time. Can't remember the two guys names that owned it then. Want to say ones name was Terry.

We had a Stotler longbow/flatlimb/hygrid, not sure how to categorize it, but if you liked about the mass of a Howatt Hunter, stability like nothing i have seen before and the speed of a Super Kodiak, the Stotler flat limb did it all. I think the company faded away because of lack of trying by the owners. It is a design, like many others, that requires dedicated craftsmanship.

You'd think with the long distinguished history of Stotler Archery, that the bow forms and rights to the company name would be worth something to a good bowyer.

I believe the fellow who built my Stotler was Jeff Scherer out of Jonesboro, Illinois.

tried getting a hold of Stotler archery a couple years ago but never returned any of my emails and phone calls so wrote it off as another great bow company as history.
