I certainly wasn't expecting this and surely didn't mean for such a fuss to get started but I guess BATMAN refuses to ignore the power of prayer...and rightfully so.
I didn't know how to respond too this thread and to take some of the mystery out of things here?...apparently my 24hr urinalysis revealed an excessive amount of protien where my Doc referred me too a Kidney Specialist with a reason of...
"Decreased Renal Function" (aka: kidney failure)
How damaged my kidneys actually are is still yet to be determined but the scary part is I can feel the changes taking place in my body with cramping (especially my legs and hands) weakness and a serious decrease in energy levels where the diagnosis gave me cause for concern and when I took a look at what the possible treatment options might be?...the prognosis is downright scary cause a kidney transplant is out of the question and I ain't doing dialysis which leaves only cleansing meds for treatment but outside of that?...
I got God and a lot of friends praying for me...Thanks Folks! :)

Update: I want to express my most heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for your prayers as I have the following praise to report...
I saw my Kidney Specialist for the first appt. today where they immediately conducted an onsight urinalysis and as it turns out?...
The numbers that alarmed my PCP to refer me too a Kidney Specialists were cut down to 1/3rd of what they were.
The KS asked me if I had made any major changes too my diet as I confided that for some reason I had grown untrusting of red meats recently and for the past several weeks had been eating home made wheat bread toast for breakfast, fresh chopped salads for lunch and fish, chicken or turkey for dinner...she smiled and nodded then told me that my kidneys are also functioning at 89% which in nher opinion is awesome for a diabetic of my age.
I left with no perscriptions and the only reason she'd like to see me back in 6 months is to keep tabs on my kidneys and make certain that if any problems do develope that they are caught early on.
I Thank You All For Your Prayers and God for His Healing.
I also learned I can't trust BATMAN to Keep A Secret! LOL!

Bill, be easy on Batman, you shouldn't go through these things alone, you can see the support you have and I'm sure the prayers are what helped in the diagnosis.
We all are so glad to see you have a turn around from what was a very bad situation.
We pretty much have cut our red meat down to twice a month, pork, chicken, turkey are the main products around here, I have been craving scratch corn here lately......Ha!Ha!
Sure do miss a good steak.
