Can anyone suggestion a bowyer who could make a set of action wood limbs to use on a A&H riser? Love the carbon but am having a issue. Seems carbon is just to fragile and a small sliver can cause me to retire $800 set of limbs. Need something durable in a 40# or so longbow limb. Thanks.Ps not trying to copy A&H just something that will fit.

Have been leaving messages for days. Texted pictures and no response. Larry is a good guy but I feel he doesn't want to give me the bad news and avoiding my calls. I have been told they cannot be safely repaired. Would love to find out from A&H. Thanks for asking.

Not likely that anybody is going to take on building an A&H style limb for you. If the patent is still in affect, it would be a patent infringement for one thing. The there would be the expense of having to build the form.
Building a set of standard limbs wouldn't be any kind of big deal. Only thing is the A&H riser hasvery little deflex for a D/R longbow so the poundage increase would have to be worked out.

If you dislike to go with A&H due to the carbon, sell the riser and buy another brand.Just fitting anykind of limb to the riser is senseless imo. Good luck.

Actually there's no reason not to put another set of limbs on it if you want to, and the riser fits one well. All the riser is, is a handle. Nothing special about it other than the deflex. If the limbs are bad, it isn't going to sell for anything any way.

I really like the riser, fits my hand perfectly. This is the bow I shoot everyday. Love the bow and need to hear from Larry at A&H to find out what can be done. Maybe he went hunting and shut down for a couple of weeks. This is the best bow I have ever owned guys. Just looking for advice from the wall. I do appreciate your thoughts. Dave
