In my side yard doing some observations on shooting a Carvotta Bros. Yellow Jacket. GDS spotted this bow at swap meet at Denton and I picked it up. This model was alwsys ky favorite. The big handle and the wsy it fit. Always attracted to the plain jane looks. 52@28 she is a stout girl that launches a good arrow, both 1916 and 1918 with 150 gr up front. The sddition of a tweove strand B-50 flemish string brought it to the top. My brace is 7 1/2.

The Yellow Jacket was made in several different configurations. Scott's bow is the one listed about by Nemophilist. A huge riser with reflexed curved reflex limbs.

Scott should show a photo of it unstrung. It has quite a profile.

Classic looking bow. And quiet as a mouse I'll bet.

Great looking bow Scott. What color is the glass? I have a Carvotta Bros. Yellow Jacket only with a different grip. Mine is 48# and 66" made in 1959.

I own 2 scorpions, and a short bee.My son owns 4 of the one shown above with the off set handle.Forget the model. All pretty good bows.SOME built in the 60,s and some in the 70,s.We have them from 32# to 58#.Not a bad bow for what you can buy them for.
