I convinced my girlfriend to get one. I have two whips which are a little heavy for her and I gave her a little bug for the shooting so we had one made up. It has ambrosia maple for limb veneers and texas ironwood with some history for the riser. She had a lot of nostalgia for the maple since I built out her sprinter van with the same material. Matching bow for the van!
Brass tacks. Its a 58" 45# @ 28". She is shooting 29 1/2" 400s GT. Quick and super quite as usual. If i wasn't so attached to my 2 piece especially, I'd consider one. The ability to break it down in the back country is awesome. Ill try to get some pics. I live, hunt, and fish close to dan and jared so its easy to stop by. They are great guys making a great product. Ill always shop local with them. If you have never dealt with these guys you should. Super helpful, nice, and quick. Her bow was done in three weeks with all the specials involved.

I've had mine for a couple months. 50# at my 30" draw. I have shot most of Dans bows, but I believe this is his finest creation.

Never owned one of Dan's bows but I've done some gun trading with him in the past and he's a good guy and I trust his honesty.

I also have my eye on a Whistler. I have a 56” Pika and love it. Can’t believe how smooth and quiet it is for such a light bow. I wonder if the grips on the Pika and Whistler are identical. I’ll have to ask Dan.

Firekeeper, the riser is Micarta. I wanted a little more mass as I usually find Toelke’s a little on the light side for me. The Micarta adds some weight over a timber riser.
Cheers, Scott.

First arrows today. This is the second group of 6 I shot after settling into the bow. I’m using 2018 Easton’s (and one odd 2116) that I used to shoot through my #52 Javaman Falcon. This bow seems faster to me. The arrows are a little fishtaily in flight, that could just be my release though I’m not used to the skinny strings Dan equips these bows with. How does it shoot? This is 12 yards. More shooting tomorrow, ran out of time today.

I got one from the first run of them, think in June. Didn't really get into fine tuning an arrow for broadheads till elk season ended for me last week. It's a lighter draw, I have been shooting micro diameter arrows last couple of years with efoc, couldn't get them too tune with any forgiveness, finally tried some standard diameter and kazam, every shot with a bare shaft is beautiful, shot at ten yards with broadheads in the basement and they look good too, heading out to hunt small game and scout for a new elk unit in a couple of days and will shoot broadheads at longer distances to get ready for Whitetail hunting with it. Keep experimenting, you'll find the arrow and it will shoot better than it looks and your's is amazing looking! I agree they are faster than the Whip and very very much like a Pika!

Youre going to love it. I was told 4-5 weeks too, was actually closer to 3! Im really liking this bow. Im still in the honeymoon stage obviously so I don't want to start gushing about it yet, but this thing has shot really good without any tuning.... maybe I just lucked onto getting pretty close to set up with what Ive got here... Is it too soon for me to start thinking about my next Toelke? Im trying hard not to be tempted by material things, but man these bows make it hard!
Cheers, Scott.

Scott......I hope I get mine in 3 weeks! ?? I love my Pika. It’s unbelievable how smooth it is for such a short bow.
